Frisch's Fundraising Initiatives for Prior Years
Frisch's Big Boy of Northwest Ohio locations get involved in their local community. The organizations listed below are some examples of some organizations we have supported in prior years in Toledo and the surrounding area.
Our crew has participated in ZooToDo for over 14 years.
All of the proceeds from ZOOtoDO directly support the continued development of Zoo programs and exhibits.

Scouting for Food is the annual food collection organized by Scouts from Erie Shores Council.
Local scouts distribute plastic bags with tags to homes across Ottawa County, Lucas County, Sandusky County, and Wood County. The Scouts return to collect filled bags, at least one week later.
Members of the community may also drop off at participating Frisch's locations.
New drop off dates coming soon.
American Red Cross Northwest Ohio
Local musicians throughout Northwest Ohio lent their talent to support the American Red Cross through the sale of two original benefit CDs. The albums were "Red, White & You" and "Red, White & You Too."
Proceeds from the CD benefited the programs and services of American Red Cross of Northwest Ohio. Serving 18 counties, the local Red Cross provides relief to those affected by disasters and empowers individuals to prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies 24 hours a day.
Relay For Life
Our Tiffin location teamed up with Maddy's Heart Relay for Life Team.
Through the sale of handmade bracelets, T-shirts and a portion of Frisch's dine-in sales, this team raised over $7900 in 2013.
Relay For Life events are life-changing cancer fundraising events that help communities across the globe fight back against cancer.
Susan G. Komen fought breast cancer with her heart body and soul. Throughout her diagnosis, treatments and endless days in the hospital, she spent her time thinking of ways to make life better for other women battling breast cancer instead of worrying about her own situation.

Within the Bowling Green community, the Frisch's Big Boy restaurant located on E. Wooster Street in Bowling Green, has paired with I-Nation in the collection of hats, mittens, and scarves for a community project called the "Giving Treet".
